An astounding 784,321 men were surveyed by a company which produces penis enlargement devices, as to the size of ones penis when erect.
They stated that they were quite surprised at the average penis size this survey revealed. However they did throw caution to the wind in reminding people that most men in general will often exaggerate a slight measurement or two.
Results revealed that 72% of men measured themselves above 6 inches with 22% of those between 6.0 - 6.5 inches. Only 4% noted their erect penis below 5 inches.
What this company found quite intriguing were the amount of men who took part in the survey to begin with suggesting that penis size appeared to be a concern for a lot of men across the globe.
"Even if many of the respondents over-estimated the survey still throws up some interesting conclusions about perceived and desired penis size." Stated Paul Bryant who is product manager of a penis enlargement manufacturer.
Further surveys are expected to include one for women, as to their ideal size and girth and another also for men which will this time be for the average penis size when flaccid.
Penis extension companies which came into fruition in 2004 after it discovered that a device that was being used as a treatment for men who had had surgery could be improved and marketed as a penis enlargement device for men who preferred non-surgical treatment as a means to extend their penis.
These companies have now become global manufacturers of the penis enlargement devices which operate on the practice of traction.
